Wolf & Ryan salon showcases the artistic passion for style and fashion of salon owners Joshua A. Wolfe Gambrell and Stacia Ryan Gambrell. Sharing a mutual love for the arts and creativity, Joshua and Stacia go together like bourbon and horses.

Joshua began his hair dressing career in the spring of 2004 and Stacia followed in the summer of 2004. After their marriage in June of 2010, Joshua and Stacia wanted to grow personally and professionally into salon ownership. They envisioned a salon richly rooted in hospitality offering quality service by highly educated, trained professionals.

In route to this dream the pair found themselves recruited by top NYC salons to serve as educators and Mercedes­-Benz Fashion Week hair stylists. While working in lower Manhattan, they received advanced training from leaders of the hair industry; ­­­launching them into high fashion runways, editorials, ad campaigns, and press interviews along with celebrity clientele. Their work appeared in fashion magazines including Vogue, Elle, and Italian Vanity Fair.

When news of an expanding family came, the Gambrells (+1) made the decision to leave the Big Apple and raise their son with bluegrass under his feet. They returned to Kentucky in the summer of 2012 bringing with them a plethora of knowledge from their experience in New York City. After reestablishing themselves in Lexington, Joshua and Stacia brought the dream of Wolf & Ryan to light.
